I've been meaning to make a blog for quite some time now, but this thing called Tumblr happened, and I was like, OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY I'M A BLOGGER NOW, for a few months until I realized what Tumblr is and how it operates.
I'm really excited (like, small-puppy-having-an-accident excited) to have a new place to imprint myself on the world, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this takes me. In the words of Michael Scott, "Sometimes I'll start a sentence, and I don't even know where it's going, I just hope I find it along the way".
That being said, I really can't tell you what this blog will be about. I will, however, tell you a little bit about myself, and maybe you'll subscribe and stick around.
1. I identify primarily as a Canadian advertising student (but more on that later).
2. I have an intense love for grammar, but I also type exactly how I speak. This makes for excessive comma use, plenty of CAPS LOCK OH EM GEE, and I've done some crazy things with ellipses. I am a grammatically tortured soul.
3. I'm a classic Aries. I have red hair, blue eyes, and prefer live concerts over dinner and a movie. This may belong on a different list...
4. I MIGHT have a small obsession (addiction?) with pop music, boybands, and teen heartthrobs. It fascinates me. In what other industry can you legally sell a human being? Sure, you're technically selling their talent, but see little talent being employed when Zac Efron takes off his shirt to sell Rolling Stone magazines and cover posters. Not that I have a problem with Zac Efron taking his shirt off, ever, at all.
5. Every time I start making a list, it starts out as concise and to-the-point sentences (because hello, that's what lists are for) and ends up in paragraphs.
Advertising student, grammar, low-grade humour, Zac Efron, explanation for my ridiculousness... yeah, I think that pretty much covers it!
I think you'll like me.
